Gaming Files: New Central Dispatch is online
|
|
lsanto writes "Mike is still tossing thoughts together for his Attack of the Clones review (not to mention some thoughts on the Revised Core rules for WotC's SW rpg), but here's the latest installment of his CCCC article. While he did promise there would be game stats and character writeups, he's still digesting the new implications of the revised rules. Never fear, actual usable game info will be included next time."

Gaming Files: 2002 Arabian Nights - A Hero Campaign World
|
|
charlie writes "The players will be adventurers and travelers in a science fiction
world based on Arabian folklore and inspired by the anime series El Hazard.
While this world will have many features from El Hazard, it will not actually
be in that world, and players should expect many different kinds of strange
adventures.
The Campaign begins in a port city called Al Khasab in the coastal nation
of Usfan. Al Khasab is a large and prosperous city with a history dating
back many centuries. Travelers and merchants from many distant lands pass
through this city, and it has accumulated many wonders and mysteries in
the narrow streets of its bazaars and the windowless halls of its guilds.
There is much excitement waiting here for he who has the imagination and
desire to seize it."

Dunwarr morning ...

Gaming Files: Mennara Aflame Diskwars Campaign, Article 1
|
|
"Mennara Aflame" is a campaign of linked Diskwars events. They will
unfold in a storyline fashion, and results will have a bearing on
future scenarios. The first cycle of 4 scenarios uses only disks contained
in the "Revised" set. The purpose is to re-introduce players to the fun
of when Diskwars was brand new and these were all the disks that were available.
These scenarios are all deemed to take place in a somewhat concurrent fashion,
so there will be no immediate effect of victory upon the storyline. Future
cycles will add disks from expansion sets in the order of release.

Gaming Files: Central Dispatch: CCCC part 2
|
|
lsanto writes "Author Mike Horne brings the latest installment of his continuing Star Wars the Roleplaying Game column. Focusing on the most populous world of the Galactic Republic and subsequent Empire, with an emphasis on campaigning and infrastructure. This installment picks up with more about the CCCC (Constabulaire do Chirurgie Centralle Im Coruscant)."

Gaming Files: New Central Dispatc: CCCC: Part 1
|
|
Lsanto writes "Mike Horne is back with the latest installment of his D20 Star Wars rpg column. This time medical/police installments are covered in "CCCC: Part 1".
For poor players, once the medpak is used up the Chirurgie is an intriguing ER type locale for interaction. For a Blade Runner type decayed and corrupt (somewhat) police environment rife with Black Sun intrigue the Constabulary (unless as part of the CCCC title in full, the cops don't call it by the "Constabularie" title, unlike the doctors next door--go figure)."
